Rich & Luxurious Solid Sugar Scrub

I am loving this variation on Erin Pikor's sugar scrub recipe. I have used Cocoa Butter and Peppermint essential oil to make a chocolate mint scented scrub. It's so easy to make and feels wonderful to rid yourself of dry, flaky skin.

Step 1: Mix the Electric Bubble Gum Neon Pigment with Glycerin. See the Soap Queen Short video for easy instructions on how to do it!

Step 2: Mix the Bubble Gum Colorant with the Sugar (we used about 1/2 Teaspoon, but you can use more or less as you prefer).

Step 3: Step 3: Melt the Clear Melt & Pour Soap Base and the Cocoa Butter. Add the Peppermint essential oil to the Cocoa Butter and soap mixture. Mix well.

Step 4: Working quickly, pour the melted soap and cocoa butter into the sugar and mix well. TIP: If you want to make more, just repeat the recipe. Doubling the recipe can lead to the soap setting up before you have time to get it into the molds.

Glop the mixture into the mold. Firmly press the mixture down into the mold to make sure there aren't any air bubbles. Smooth out the back of the soap with your fingers.

Step 6: Allow the soap to set-up. This usually takes a couple of hours, but you can speed it up by placing them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. up by placing them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 7: Cut blocks into cubes and you're done! You can package them in little cellophane bags or cute jars.
